Eleanor And John's Story
Life
Lana and I have been married now for over 35 years. Tough to believe. We have two daughters Krista and Kamie, both are now married. Krista lives in Seattle with her husband, Bill and our grandson Benjamin (3.5 yrs old.) and Julia (7 months). Krista and Bill met at Holy Cross College and were married in 1996. Kamie and her husband Todd met after college, but were in high school in Beverly together. They were married on Sept 9, 2001. They live in Salem Mass and we do get to see them often. Lana is a teacher in Beverly-3rd grade and is planning on retiring in Nov 2003. I'm a manufactures rep (fancy word for a salesman) for a line of accessories, lamps, and furniture in the Northeast region. I travel about two to three times a month. It is the most fun I've had throughout my working career. I don't plan on retiring from this-it's way too much fun. I get to talk with people all day and get paid for it! was the CFO for a local printing company that was sold. I had worked there for over twenty years.
Lana and I have seen many of our classmates annually. We get together about four times a year with Jeanne and Ron Perry, Jim Harding, David Ticchi, and Tom Lyons. We actually see David a lot more than that because we both help him with The National Federation of the Blind. David now has email so if you give me emails, I'll forward your addresses.
We'd love to meet with any of you if you want to go out to dinner sometime. Please let us know if you are in the area. If you are out of state, it would make a good excuse to take a trip. Lana hears from several classmates via email as well. I believe she writes to Ellen Foye, Ann Rhonstrom, and Carol Maloney.
